About Us
Empowering Students Through the Arts

One Vision was founded in January 2018 by Melissa Kings with the aim of providing Leominster and its surrounding areas with valuable performing arts opportunities.

Our classes are designed to build confidence, foster creativity, and promote personal and social well-being. Students will enhance their diction, posture, pitch, rhythm, focus, technique, and knowledge, while also developing essential life skills. Along the way, they will make lasting friendships, have fun, and receive professional performance training in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We welcome students of all ages and abilities, whether you're a budding future professional or are simply looking to develop new skills.

Our committed team works closely with each student, providing the nurturing, support, and inspiration needed to encourage them to step outside their comfort zones. Many of our students describe One Vision as their "happy place," where they feel free to express themselves fully.
Classes run throughout the academic year, and during school holidays, we offer workshops and masterclasses, including our popular Summer School.

Previous celebrity-led masterclasses have included West End star Kerry Ellis, Lauren Byrne (Miss Honey in Matilda), Hollywood actor and West End performer Adam Garcia, and Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson. Our students have also had the opportunity to perform alongside West End star Gareth Gates.
We love to reward our students’ hard work and dedication with incentives such as prizes, certificates, and trophies for those who have made exceptional progress.

We're also passionate about fundraising for causes. To date, we've raised nearly £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and supported charities such as Burning Nights, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Terence Higgins Trust, The Born Sleeping Appeal, the Special Care Baby Unit, St. Michael's Hospice, and a local student with a terminal illness.
In October 2022, we were proud to receive both the ‘Covid Community Champion of the Year’ award and the overall ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award at The Herefordshire Business Awards. Furthermore, in May 2024, our students earned the ‘Achievement in Music’ award at the MTI Junior Theatre Festival at the ICC in Birmingham.
