About Us

Empowering Students Through the Arts

One Vision was founded in January 2018 by Melissa Kings with a clear purpose: to provide Leominster and the surrounding areas with high-quality, meaningful performing arts opportunities.

Our classes are carefully designed to nurture confidence, ignite creativity, and support both personal and social development. Students refine their diction, posture, pitch, rhythm, focus, technique, and performance knowledge, while also building invaluable life skills. Most importantly, they form lasting friendships, have fun, and train in a professional yet supportive and encouraging environment.

We welcome students of all ages and abilities — whether you dream of a professional career on stage or simply want to grow in confidence and learn new skills.

Our dedicated team works closely with every student, offering the guidance, encouragement, and inspiration needed to step beyond comfort zones and reach new heights. Many of our students describe One Vision as their “happy place” — a space where they feel safe, supported, and truly themselves.

Classes run throughout the academic year, with additional holiday workshops, masterclasses, and our ever-popular Summer School providing even more opportunities to grow, perform, and shine.

Our students have benefited from inspiring masterclasses led by industry professionals such as West End star Kerry Ellis, Lauren Byrne (Miss Honey in Matilda), Hollywood and West End performer Adam Garcia, and Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson. They have also had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside West End star Gareth Gates.

We firmly believe in celebrating dedication and progress. Students are regularly recognised with certificates, awards, and trophies to honour exceptional commitment and growth.

Giving back is at the heart of what we do. To date, we have raised nearly £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, alongside supporting charities including Burning Nights, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Terence Higgins Trust, The Born Sleeping Appeal, the Special Care Baby Unit, St Michael’s Hospice, and a local student facing terminal illness.

In October 2022, we were proud to be recognised at the Herefordshire Business Awards, receiving both the Covid Community Champion of the Year award and the overall Outstanding Achievement award. In May 2024 and May 2025, our students achieved the Achievement in Music award at the MTI Junior Theatre Festival, held at the ICC Birmingham.
